Goat Tracker V2 Worktunes
This
is a collection of .SNG files, which can be loaded into a PC-based C64
music composer, called Goat Tracker V2, written by CovertBitOps.
Tunes were all composed by yours truly, by using the same editor. The
tunes are all varied from soft tunes, disco tunes, to hard thumping
techno/trance tunes. We are happy to give you the workfiles for use in
Goat Tracker, and welcome you to use the same instruments, improve them
or make brand new tunes for your future productions. Have loads of fun

General information: I had a tight deadline to write a tune for the Forever 2014 party - although I was too busy working on other things, including Honey Bee. This sound track is a trance style tune, inspired by the Trance Sector loading tune. I tried to immitate some of the instruments that were used in Goat Tracker, in DMC V5.0+, but the result turned out completely different. This tune made it to 11th out 12th place at Forever 2014 party. Best heard on a C64C with 8580 SID :)

General information: After hearing the original Frontpage 18 track by Guy Shavitt in HVSC, I thought I try and do a DMC version of the same tune. Unfortunately the track does not sound as good as Guy's original, but it is slightly above average and I tried to use his style as much as I could. Unfortunately this does not sound as good as the original. It was fun to compose though.

He was the programmer of Great Giana Sisters and also Hard 'n Heavy. Both games of which were published and released by Rainbow Arts in Germany and other places around the world. A fantastic game which C64 fans will play today.

General information: Once upon a time on a Tuesday, I had a really bad day at work. Until at the end of the working day, I felt rather stressed, so I decided to dig out the DMC V5.0+ and compose something to make me feel better. Did it make me feel better? Yes, it sure did. This tune never actually got released, apart from on a TND intro. This is the usual traditional Richard Bayliss dance/disco style of tune, which some people would love or hate.

General information: The tune starts with a C64-style sound of a flying saucer, and then later on it turns into a disco/dance style tune. It is nothing original, but sounds pretty fun. This tune was entered at the Forever 10 party, and made it to an average 6th place, although I think the tune deserved probably a lower position, because of the amount of great tunes there was at that event. Still I am happy with 6th place out of 11 :o)

Probably because of the amount of music entries they received. They did enter my demo, Crazy Fish into the compo. The music later got used as the tape loading music for the Mayhem in Monsterland music mix. Glad I found some use for this nice piece of music. I feel that this tune is probably one of my best efforts so far,

Later on, in early 2009 I decided to improve this tune a little and use it for the disk menu of The Last Amazon Trilogy by Psytronik Software. Some of the instruments sort of sound familiar to the ones used in Midnight Resistance for the C64 by Ocean Software.

General information: A tune, which is inspired by the title theme tune to the C64 version of Blue Angel by Magic Bytes software, but with some improvisation which I added to the tune. I don't feel all that comfortable using Goat Tracker to make new sounds, because it is more difficult to get the pulse rate and vibrato right. Although this tune sounds cool, the instruments for the main lead sound rather bad.

General information: My first ever bash at composing something on the JCH new player. I felt that I did pretty well composing on this music editor for the first time ever on the C64. Good music editor, but this does not beat the "Nyaaaah! 11" title tune, which I also composed using the same music editor, but with Laxity's updated music player. Forever Ever once again got released at the Forever party, and made it to 6th place. I was quite happy with that :o)

This is a first ever music collection of mine, consisting of loads of DMC V4.0 tunes. There is also a PD music player installed on the disk. Simply press the Space Bar to exit the TND intro and select the Mus Ice player and you're off

This is my first ever music collection consisting of DMC V5.0 tunes in a built in music demo. Sadly because of my acts in clumsiness, sometimes the loader in this music collecting bugs.
