Scene World Issue 27 - Released
Issue
27 of Pal/NTSC talk disk mag Scene World has been released. There has
been so much activity going on, and this issue has been filled with
quite a lot of spectaluar features, interviews, reviews and part 3 of
the game programming tutorial, which focusses on Zap Zone, and alien
formation. There's even a couple of new games Zap Zone and Dark
Destroyer 2117 (SEUCK) included in the diskmag (Which I have also added
to the TND Games section, should you wish to have separate
games).

Dark Destroyer 2117 by TND Games
As
mentioned above, Scene World issue 27. Dark Destroyer 2117 is a
vertical scrolling SEUCK game I created specially to cover the Jon Hare
podcast interview and the insight into SEUCK and its features. This
game was produced back in October 2016 as something a bit different to
programming a new game. It is the year 2117 and Planet Earth is under
threat of a hostile alien planet, shaped like an asteroid. It is on a
collision course for planet Earth. Two drones have been sent in to save
the day. Fly into the alien planet and do battle against the aliens and
their trajectories. Locate the weak spot of the planet and destroy it.
Earth will then be saved. Or will it? Features an option for standard
or enhanced version of the game.

This
is a final build of a game tutorial I launched for Scene World issue
27 (You can download the source and data from the Scene World).
In this game, you must fight your way through formation after
formation of aliens. Avoid getting smashed by them, and also score as
many points as you can. There are 20 different alien formation
which to battle against. Can you beat your own high scores? Good luck

Roberto's final game: Hunting for the Small Box
Since
adding the new rules to the TND contributor's section in order to
produce more quality than quantity. Roberto Ricioppo has decided to
release just one more game before he calls it a day. Hunting for the
Small Box is a little SEUCK game in which you must guide a yellow+blue
space craft
through each zone and battle against various enemies. Watch you don't
get
your ship destroyed. After all, it would be embarassing for a space
ship to get destroyed by dice. Hahahaha :)

25th April 2017Contributor's games - Changes to submission
TND
has been very kind to host brand new game productions from
contributors, mainly SEUCK as such, however there seems to be an issue
with quantity rather than quality. Also we have limited web space as
well. I have decided that from today onwards, new submission programs
will be evaluated for quality, rather than quantity.
I have created a page on future submissions to TND's contributor's pages .

18th April 2017Kernal + BASIC Linker V1.0 released
A
very small, but handy linker has been released today. This time it is
the KERNAL+BASIC LINKER V1.0. If you are having trouble mastering your
programs with Tape Master Pro, or any of the LOADER GAME TAPE MASTER
KIT programs. Why not give this program a whirl. It fits a patch before
executing a program that uses a BASIC SYS command. Can be handy for
programs with kernal subroutines, or programs that used older decrunch
routines, etc.

10th April 2017Notepad64 by Matteo Angelini
Usually
in the contributors section we tend to be overrun with SEUCK game
creations. Now today is something completely different. Matteo Angelini
delivers to TND's contributor's section Notepad 64. It is a simple SEQ
text viewer/page editing tool, in which allows you to create or modify
SEQ files, for your own personal/fun use.
