The movement of The New Dimension, to another host has completed successfully. If have you already bookmarked the website address https://tnd64.unikat.sk please keep it just incase the url gets transferred to the new host. I would like to say a huge thank you to Nafcom/Scene World/POL for his help and support during the migration of the web site. This is currently our new home (tnd64.dreamhosters.com). I will keep you posted should anything change. Expect more updates on TND later in the future.

TND Web site movement and SEUCK Compo 2025-Part 2 news

TND Web Site news update

For a start off, I want to announce big news, in fact some "great" news regarding the TND web site. The future of the TND web site has now been saved. A new host has been found. Commencing from now, The New Dimension is currently at a phase moving to the "Scene World" network, which is run by DreamHost. For so many years T.N.D has been co-operating and collaborating with "Scene World", as part of a fun and free hobby for just over 25 years. I would like to say a huge thank you to Scene World for their support to help bring TND back to life. It is also hoped that the tnd64.unikat.sk domain should still exist. If anything changes regarding this then I will inform you on the TND news page before the movement process starts on 21st March 2026. I would like to say a huge thank you to Roman who hosted the TND website alive for a more than 2 decades since the web site was launched in the early 2000s. Thank you so much :)

SEUCK Compo 2025-Part 2 Prize package - a secret surprise

Secondly I have more great news for the SEUCK Compo 2025-Part 2 entrants and game players. Just like with the SEUCK Compo 2025 prize package last year. The second SEUCK Compo 2025 prize package will not only be filled with all th entries from the previous compo, the enhanced versions of the wiiner and runner-up entries. There will also be a bonus game which will be an awesome ultra blazing vertical scrolling arcade blaster collaboration with TND and another SEUCK fan. I won't tell you what the game is yet. You will have to wait until April 2026 to find out when the SEUCK compo prize package gets released.

TND Web site movement news

Some big news to announce with regards to the T.N.D web site. It has come to a time where The New Dimension needs to move to a new host. This is because sometime in April 2026, the host which I am currently using is likely to be closing down the site. It is no fault of mine or the host who has been running this web site for many, many years.

I am currently looking for a new host that is able to run the TND web site, which I can maintain myself with FTP access. allows storage zip files that consists of my own C64 creations and contributor's releases including the C64 SEUCK Compo content, etc , a lot of images, and the entire web site is HTML. It does not use CSS, PHP or any advanced code like that.  Hopefully the TND web site should be moved to another host sometime in March 2026/very early April 2026. In the meantime, if anyone has any recommendations for where the TND website could be uploaded to (including storage of zip files, no ads, FTP server, etc, then please let me know and I'll take a look.

Thank you and wish me good luck.

New C64 Game: Spider Maze 2

Do you remember Spider Maze back in 2018, when I launched it as a game coding tutorial feature for Scene World issue 29? Well, during the start of this year I have come up with an amazing sequel in co-op with Blazon. The game also got submitted it to Zzap! 64 Micro Action exclusively for its covermount - and it has happened already. Okay, so Spider Maze 2 is a sequel to its predecessor, but boy heck, what a sequel it is and I think it is better than its the first one. The game is much more presentable also. Spider Maze 2 features more colourful graphics and multicoloured sprites. There are 8 different background tile designs, some of which contains animated graphics. There is also plenty of great music, which includes a bit of thumping techno music and custom made sound effects during gamepalay. Chesser and Freeze/Blazon also joined in the fun by making an exclusive an loading bitmap and logo for Spider Maze 2.

Take the role of Fredrik the yellow ball once again. Instead of being on a quest to steal diamonds to make himself rich. The poor ball finds himself involved on a rescue quest. Poor Ruby, his girfriend, has been captured and imprisoned by the evil Spider King. Fredrik must enter a rival spider's lair and conquer all 16 different mazes by gathering all the diamonds available. However, the poor yellow ball must face the web jumping spiders, and a few deadly obstacles such as spikes and skulls. However to help or hinder Fredrik, there are different objects around the maze which he can pick up. Fredrik also must race against time if he is to gather all the diamonds in each maze otherwise he will be trapped in the maze forever. It is tough, its frantic but hopefully Spider Maze 2 should be a whole lot of fun. It is time to check it out!

A huge thank you goes to everybody who has participated in the C64 SEUCK Compo 2025-Part 2. Without your support, the competition would not have run.

2 New Entries to the C64 SEUCK Compo 2025 - Part 2 + Submissions closed

First of all a Happy New Year. I also have some good news for you. The SEUCK Compo 2025 - Part 2 has two new submissions submitted in time for the deadline. However, the bad news is that the compo submissions have now drawn to a close. If you have submitted a game for the compo which I have not received in time (or have not received yet) then I am afraid that you are too late. The voting stage for the SEUCK compo will commence next week. This will be announced in the news. Anyway, here are the two entries, which both made it in time for the submission deadline:

Entry #11 - The New Dimension by Recycled Music

Imagine what it would be like to become an experiment and get chucked into another dimension. Well, in this game it has happened. The mad professor Kranz has sent you into a different dimension and entraps you inside a strange labyrinth as part of his crazy experiment. Your task is to try and escape from it. In order to do that, you must move around the labyrinth avoiding collision with nasties or boundaries - otherwise you will die. Communicate with other people, who will either help you or hinder you to die. The maze also features very deadly creatures, some tricks and also traps. Can you escape from The New Dimension? - Well, not the TND web site I hope :)

Entry #12 - Jessica Steel - Bloodmonger by Christian Siege

Finally, to close the SEUCK Compo 2025 - Part 2 submissions is a fast paced paranormal themed horizontal scrolling run 'n gun featuring fast paced techno/rave music (as requested by the author). In this game you play the role of Jessica Steel, who is a Paranormal agent. A group of cultists, known to be the Bloodmonger have managed to summon and open a deadly portal barrier, which has released deadly monsters and  through it. Now they are now attempting to take over the world. Armed with an electromagnetic pistol that can fire at a very short range, Paranormal agent Jessica Steel is on the hunt to find the portal barrier and destroy it, however, she must do battle against the monsters and robots. Jessica must also avoid some of the enemies that cannot be shot.
